Members of the Marri team were proud to roll up their sleeves and support the Dandaragan community at last year’s Dandaragan Christmas Party, held on 19 December.
Our team members volunteered to run the barbecue throughout the evening, keeping up with demand as we cooked for locals and visitors. It was a great opportunity for our team members to contribute, connect and share in the festive spirit with the community.
“Being part of events like this really reminds us how important strong community connections are,” said Chloe Townsend, Stakeholder Engagement Specialist at Alinta Energy. “We’re grateful to be welcomed so warmly and to play a small part in making the night special for local families.”
The evening was full of festive excitement, including the much‑anticipated arrival of Santa delivering presents to the kids. With great music, family‑friendly activities and a relaxed country‑town atmosphere, the celebration brought the community together in a memorable way.
The party was proudly supported through a Yandin Wind Farm Community Grant, helping organisers deliver an event enjoyed by people of all ages. Congratulations to the event organisers, who once again put on a fantastic evening for the Dandaragan community.
